Duplicate or merged accounts
Two accounts happen easily: you were invited at one address, signed up later at another, and now your classes are split between them.
How to tell
The clue is usually partial. One account has some classes, the other has the rest; or notifications arrive at an address you never sign in with. Check which address each invitation email was sent to — that tells you which account holds which class.
Getting them merged
Contact support with both email addresses and say which one you want to keep. Choose the address you will still have next year — a personal address usually outlasts a work or school one.
Merging keeps the history from both sides and moves the classes onto the account you keep. The other address is then free.
What not to do in the meantime
- Do not delete either account. Deleting is not the same as merging, and anything attached to the deleted one goes with it.
- Do not ask the school to re-invite you to the missing classes. That works briefly and makes the split worse — you end up with classes spread across two accounts and no clear "keep this one".
If you are staff
The same applies, with one addition: if a duplicate was created by a roster import, mention that when you contact support. Fixing the import stops it recreating the duplicate at the next sync.
