Parent FAQs: Premium, billing and receipts

What to check when a Bloomz payment or subscription doesn't look right, before you contact support.

I paid for Premium, but Bloomz still shows the free plan.

This almost always means you're signed in as a different account than the one you paid with, the payment is still pending, or it was a store purchase (App Store / Google Play) that landed on a different login than your Bloomz account. See You paid for Premium but don't have it yet for the exact order to check those in — and don't buy it a second time while you sort it out, since a duplicate purchase creates its own refund to unwind.

How do I get a receipt or invoice for what I paid?

If you paid Bloomz directly, your receipt is the confirmation email sent at the time — search your inbox, including spam. If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, Bloomz never sees that transaction and can't produce a receipt for it; the store itself holds that record. See Getting a receipt or invoice for your subscription for exactly where each store keeps it.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

There's no "Cancel Subscription" button inside Bloomz. Cancellation happens wherever you originally subscribed — your device's App Store or Google Play subscriptions screen for a store purchase, or your school/district's billing contact if they set it up for you. See Cancel your Premium subscription for where to check which one applies to you.

I subscribed through the App Store or Google Play — can Bloomz cancel or refund it for me?

No. Store purchases are managed entirely by Apple or Google — Bloomz can't cancel, refund, or change the card on a store subscription on your behalf. Getting a receipt or invoice for your subscription has the exact menu path in each store to manage it yourself.

What happens to what I've set up if my Premium subscription lapses?

Anything you created while Premium features were on is kept, not deleted, but becomes read-only until you resubscribe — Premium-only settings simply stop working in the meantime. See Cancel your Premium subscription's "Watch out" note for what that covers.

Is a Bloomz Premium subscription the same as a school fee I pay through Bloomz?

No — they're unrelated. A Premium subscription is something you personally buy to unlock Bloomz's own extra features; a school fee is something your school charges you for, collected through Bloomz's payments tools on the school's behalf. See Pay a school fee if it's the fee, not a subscription, that you're looking for.
