Join your child's school from an invitation email or text

When your school adds you as a parent or guardian, Bloomz can send you an invitation by email or text with a personal join link. Tapping that link is meant to be the fastest way onto Bloomz — it should sign you in and drop you straight into your child's class, with no code to type and no separate request to approve.

Before you start

Check the inbox or phone number the school has on file for you — that is where the invitation goes. If it has not shown up, check spam or junk folders before asking the school office to resend it; invitations expire after a few days.

What the invitation looks like

It is an email or text from your school naming your child, with a single Join Bloomz (or Accept Invitation) link. This article does not carry a screenshot of one, because a real invitation email cannot be shown here honestly — it would either have to be faked, or sent to a real address, and neither belongs in a support article. Opening the link

If Bloomz is already installed on your phone, the link opens the app directly. If it is not, the link takes you to install it first — see Install the Bloomz app and sign in on your phone. Either way, once the app opens, Bloomz recognizes the invitation and asks you to confirm a few basics (your name, and a password if you do not already have a Bloomz account on this email or phone number). The invitation already knows which child and which class you belong to, so finishing that short form should land you straight on your child's class feed.

Watch out: the link only works for the email address or phone number the school invited. If you open it on a different device but sign in with a different email, Bloomz will not know which child to connect you to — use the same email or phone the invite was sent to, or ask the school office for a class code instead (see Join with a class code or QR code).
