Enter your two-step verification code

Modified on: Wed, Sep 9, 2026, 3:41 PM

Accounts with two-step verification turned on ask for one more thing after your password: a 6-digit code sent to your phone or email. It's a security feature your school turns on for everyone — not a personal setting you switch on yourself.

Before you start

Two-step verification is not something you will find in your own Account menu. It is turned on, school-wide, by a Bloomz administrator. If your school has it on, you will see a code prompt automatically the next time you sign in; if it is off, you will never see it at all, and there is nothing to set up.

What to expect if it's on

After you enter your email and password as usual, Bloomz sends a 6-digit code to the phone number or email address on file for you — it usually arrives within a minute. Type the 6 digits into the verification screen to finish signing in.

Changing where the code goes

There is no in-app screen for switching the code between phone and email yourself. If you need it sent somewhere else — a new phone number, a different email — contact your child's school or Bloomz support and ask them to update it for you.

Watch out: if you lose access to both the phone number and the email on file, you cannot get past this screen on your own — contact your school administrator or Bloomz support to reset two-step verification on your account.
